PMR Diesel Heat Exchanger
Tired of dealing with gas bottles for your drying floor? Wish you could utilize just one fuel source for your farm? The high output 300kw dual stage PMR Heat Exchanger is designed and engineered to utilize a diesel burner to replace the need for the use of gas bottles.
The PMR Heat Exchanger is engineered with heavy duty construction and design to ensure it has quality, reliable and longevity at the highest commercial level. The PMR Heat Exchanger utilizes a high efficiency design with innovative, multiple passes through heat tubes to ensure all heat and energy is utilized and not lost out the chimney. The PMR Diesel Heat Exchanger includes all plenum chambers with removable panels if cleaning is ever required, while the indirect heat ensures no contamination of the products being dried due to the diesel by product being contained within the heat exchanger.
The PMR diesel heat exchanger comes pre-assembled and is easy to transport, meaning it can be widely shipped and installed anywhere in New Zealand.
Ideal for drying crops, grains and seeds in silos, drying floors or adapted to any other crop storage and drying applications.
Harvest CHC Burners
Adding a Harvest Automatic Constant Humidity Controller (CHC) to your existing crop store you can effectively dry 24 hours a day during any weather conditions.
The CHC system has a proven record of accuracy, efficiency and economy there are thousands of units in use. Its the easiest and surest way of turning bulk storage systems into reliable drying units.
Economical drying rates are achieved because the CHC system gives continuous drying all the time the store fan is running. The CHC is effective on all usual combinable crops.
A large range of models are produced, from 200,000 to 4,000,000 BTU / hr - to suit all types of fans. Each one features purpose - built solid state electronics and plate - type burners ensuring accurate, trouble - free performance.
GSI Fans and Heaters
Having the right size of fan and drying system for your specific operation is key. Too much airflow can be as bad – sometimes even worse – than too little airflow.
PMR can supply and install a wide range of GSI fans and heaters to suit your requirements.

Centrifugal Fans
1750 RPM CENTRIFUGAL FANS
Built with a heavy galvanized steel, scroll-type housing and inverted inlet venturi. A non-overloading backward inclined airfoil wheel provides high airflow with a long motor life. These fans operate at a low noise level and accommodate a variety of heaters for use on drying bins where higher capacities are required. Models are available from 5 - 50 HP with static pressures up to 11".
3500 RPM CENTRIFUGAL FANS
Designed to operate in static pressures up to 22". These fans are used primarily with tall tanks or small grains tanks with high resistance to airflow. 3500 RPM centrifugal fans can not be used with heaters due to their design.
Vane Axial Downstream Heater
For use as a medium to high temperature downstream on axial fans or with deluxe models as a low temperature, equilibrium or medium temperature burner on 1750 RPM centrifugal fans.
With capacities up to 3.0 million BTU/hr., our heater combination provides the very best in high capacity grain drying. Vane axial heaters are available in 18" to 28" dia., liquid propane, propane vapor or natural gas models.
Upstream Heater
A low or medium temperature burner for use only upstream on 1750 RPM centrifugal fans. Capable of .3 to 1.1 million BTU/hr., and available in propane vapor or natural gas, perfect for the drying/aeration of rice, corn or other select grains.
Centrifugal Downstream Heater
For use downstream as a medium or high temp burner on 1750 RPM centrifugal fans. Not for use as a low temperature burner. Specially designed burners are adjustable for uniform heating temps with a choice of liquid propane, propane vapor or natural gas. Available for GSI 1750 RPM (10-40 HP) centrifugal models, the downwind centrifugal burner is capable of capacities up to 4.2 million BTU/hr.
Welvent Heaters
The most important component of any crop store is the fan, it is the engine or the heart of the system.
Air movement is critical to the optimum operation of any storage and drying system.
The Welvent range is made up of both axial and centrifugal fan units, which means that the optimum fan can be selected for the job.
Fans are chosen to suit the volume and pressure requirements of the crop and system whilst giving consideration to other important factors such as noise, power availability and efficiency.
